WHY ANALYTICS?
As data continues to grow exponentially, it becomes available in various forms and places. While having more data can be helpful, it can also be a distraction from the actual task at hand. The challenge lies in utilizing the existing data, comprehending it, and making well-informed decisions based on insights gained.
Fortunately, analytics can provide a solution to this challenge. By uncovering hidden patterns and unknown correlations, analytics can reveal historical and future trends, analyze the effects of certain decisions, and uncover other valuable information. This information can then be used to make more effective choices regarding organizational operations.
Whether public, private, or volunteer, analytics can bring practical benefits and value to any type of organization. As such, it's essential to incorporate analytics into your strategy to achieve your goals. Don't let your valuable data sit around – invest in analytics to make sense of it.
FORECASTING
Accurate and reliable forecasting is a crucial aspect of high-performing companies. Decision-makers in these organizations rely on it to make important decisions about the future direction of their business. Rather than reacting to change, they use forecasting to anticipate and proactively deal with uncertainty.
Guesswork is not an option for organizations and governments when it comes to decision-making. Forecasting provides an informed and impartial basis for making crucial decisions with greater confidence. By anticipating the future, managers and directors can prepare their organizations to respond appropriately.
As a reliable BI Analyst, I utilize advanced statistical techniques and the latest technology to provide accurate forecasts. With my help, your organization can execute and implement a forecast to become more agile and dynamic in its business planning process.
Forecasting Call Volume
When it comes to call center efficiency, inaccurate forecasting can lead to wasted labor expenses. That's why forecasting accuracy is crucial for scheduling, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. To achieve this, I utilize IBM SPSS statistical software, MS Excel Power Pivot, and Power Query. With these tools, I can quickly develop a reliable and robust forecasting model, regardless of the dataset's size or variables involved. My process involves validating weekly historical data for call and average handle time (AHT), identifying events such as holidays, and selecting the best-fitting forecasting model. I then use this information to break down calls and AHT into different days and thirty-minute intervals. With my knowledge and powerful software, I can save you valuable time without compromising the quality or reliability of my forecasts.
REPORTING ANALYTICS
Effective communication goes beyond just presenting data. It is equally important to have an intelligent reporting process in place. A systematic approach ensures that the right information is delivered on time, free of errors, and easily understood for action-taking.
When reporting to senior management or other members of an organization, it can be overwhelming. Executives have limited time and often do not have the capacity to review detailed reports. As a result, many reports remain unread or are not comprehended.
Dynamic dashboard reports are an excellent solution to this challenge as they present data in a clear, concise, and actionable format. This allows users to quickly gain meaningful insights in the most efficient way possible. As your BI analyst, I create dynamic MS Excel-based dashboards that are tailored to your unique business needs. This will enable you to focus on the information necessary to make sound, evidence-based decisions.
Call Center Reporting
Data is easier to comprehend and process when it is presented in visual formats such as charts, graphs, and tables. Visual analytics can transform your data into informative, valuable, and engaging insights.
Dashboards are crucial tools for visualizing data and driving business intelligence. Organizations that utilize dashboards can convert large data sets into summaries that are simple to interpret, understand, and share. As a result, leaders and senior managers highly endorse dashboards.
I am here to help you take advantage of intelligent data visualization. By transforming your call center's complex data into interactive, clear, and easy-to-update visualizations, I can assist you in making well-informed decisions.
With dashboards and automated reports in MS Excel, I can free up your organization's time spent on tedious tasks like formatting, validating data, correcting errors, and reviewing piles of manually generated reports stored in binders. This can result in increased productivity and cost efficiencies for your organization.

PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS
The volume of data generated today is enormous. We record significant events, and our systems document every click, payment, call, crash, crime, illness, and more. However, this vast amount of data lacks critical information on what is yet to happen. Predictive Analytics (PA) is an approach that involves using various techniques, tools, and algorithms to unearth hidden patterns and relationships within historical data. The outcome of this process is valuable knowledge that can be leveraged to predict future occurrences. The ultimate aim is to streamline decision-making, eliminate biases, and generate fresh insights that lead to better outcomes. With such insights, organizations can make more informed business decisions and optimize their operations.
Today, governments and other organizations face unprecedented challenges. In an era of budget cuts, rising demands for services, and increasingly complex transactions, leaders must explore innovative and novel solutions to complex problems. Predictive Analytics is being embraced by organizations across various domains to gain a competitive edge. The possibilities are endless. For example, Predictive Analytics can optimize marketing campaigns, boost customer responses, reduce churn, fraud, accidents, defaults, dropouts, and lower crime rates.
I have the expertise and cutting-edge tools to guide you through the process of creating Predictive Analytics models. My role involves comprehensively understanding your problem and preparing data for the predictive model. I will select the most appropriate algorithm (e.g., K-Nearest Neighbors, Naïve Bayes, Decision Trees, Support Vector Machine, Regression, Neural Network) to construct, execute and evaluate the optimal classification, segmentation or association predictive model. Finally, I will present and explain the modelling results to enable you to make informed decisions and drive your business toward greater success.
CONTINGENT VALUATION METHOD
The Contingent Valuation (CV) method is a valuable tool for estimating the economic value of non-market goods and services, as well as environmental amenities. Unlike actual transactions, the CV method creates a hypothetical marketplace. It's a "stated preference" approach that asks individuals what they would do under hypothetical circumstances.
The CV method is commonly used to assign a dollar value to public goods, such as improvements in water and air quality, national parks, and eco-tourism. It's also used to assess the demand for sanitation services and perform various cost/benefit analyses needed in the project approval process.
I'm proud to say that my consulting work on the CV method has been recognized in academic circles. Scientists from the Canadian Agri-Food Research Council, Agri-Food Canada, and the University of Saskatchewan cited some of my findings in their research papers.
